Dualised σ-models at the two-loop order
We adress ourselves the question of the quantum equivalence of non abelian dualised σ-models on the simple example of the T-dualised SU(2)σ-model. This theory is classically canonically equivalent to the standard chiral SU(2)σ-model. It is known that the equivalence also holds at the first order in perturbations with the same β functions. However, this model has been claimed to be non-renormali...
متن کاملD = 2 , N = 2 Supersymmetric σ - models on Non ( anti ) commutative Superspace
We extend the results of hep-th/0310137 to show that a general classical action for D = 2, N = 2 sigma models on a non(anti)commutative superspace is not standard and contains infinite number of terms, which depend on the determinant of the non(anti)commutativity parameter, C αβ. We show that using Kähler normal coordinates the action can be written in a manifestly covariant manner. We introduc...

متن کاملNotes on N = 2 σ - models ⋆
These lectures, given at the 1992 Trieste Spring School, are devoted to some selected topics in N=2 σ-models on Calabi-Yau manifolds and the associated N=2 superconformal field theories. The first lecture is devoted to the “special geometry” of the moduli space of c = 9 N=2 superconformal field theories. An important role is played by the extended chiral algebra which appears in theories with i...
متن کاملRenormalisation of the Fayet - Iliopoulos D - term
We consider the renormalisation of the Fayet-Iliopoulos D-term in a softly-broken Abelian supersymmetric theory. We show that there exists (at least through three loops) a renormalisation group invariant trajectory for the coefficient of the D-term, corresponding to the conformal anomaly solution for the soft masses and couplings.
